Dr. Shippy will spend approximately two hours with you during your initial consultation. At that time she will discuss your health concerns, conduct a physical, review family history and any previous lab work you have done. Dr. Shippy will then develop a plan for you which includes recommendations for supplements and medications (if necessary), blood tests and specialized test kits, possible diet modifications and answer any questions you may have.
Dr. Shippy does not take health insurance (or Medicare) and is considered an out of network provider. You may, however, submit your coded office visit receipts to your insurance company for reimbursement (Medicare patients can not submit claims to Medicare for reimbursement).
Labs and some tests that Dr. Shippy prescribes are covered through most insurance plans.
As of September 1, 2015 Dr. Shippy will be charging $420 per hour. Initial consultations are typically 2 hours. Dr. Shippy accepts cash, checks or most credit cards and payment is expected at the time of service.
